What’s on My Playlist?

Hi guys!

So as you may know, I’m currently living in London, which means that the easiest (and cheapest) way to get around is by tube (subway). I think in a typical weekday I spend at least 1 to 2 hours underground. There’s not really much to do down there, so my way of fighting boredom and making time go by a little faster is by listening to my current favourite songs (or reading a book).

If I had to say, my favourite genre (right now lol) has to be AfroBeats or AfroHouse Music. It always pumps me up (and makes me feel like I am back in Angola) regardless if I’m on my way to a 9 a.m. lecture or a party, I always get in a better, happier mood.

For a while now, I’ve been listening to the same songs over and over and I’m getting kind of tired of it, so in the comments let me know what songs you’re currently loving. I thought that this post would be a good way for us to get to know each other a little more and learn about new songs and artists. So here it goes, these are a few of the songs that I’m currently jamming to, in their specific categories (click on the titles to listen to the songs):

      Hi Mica!
We do have a lot in common! Great minds think alike haha
I did forget Zayn though! soo many good songs so little space lol

And for the hair- My hair was weighed down in this picture (about a week that I haven’t washed it and have been using a slick bun during the whole time) that is why it lost a lot of volume and looks straight. So I didn’t straighten it with heat just from the fact that I was wearing a bun for so long.

      Thanks for sharing!

Yes Rihanna and Beyonce are killing it this year (as per usual lol)

Yes Afrobeats is amazing it surprises me how underrated (in some countries even unknown) it is
